My husband and I are realtors and we have started a business in Bethany Beach, DE. We want our brand to remind people of sunny days, relaxing, taking a break from the ‘busy-ness’ of working/city/business life. Bethany Beach is a family-oriented beach, with a quaint downtown shopping area and many homes (see uploaded pics). It’s down to earth and very easy going.
The name of our real estate business (and our ‘team name’) is ThirdStreet Properties but we don’t want the word properties in the logo. Third Street means a lot to us. We created Better in Bethany as a facebook page and plan on putting loads of information and resources to attract people interested in the lifestyle of the beach. We want to attract people to connect with us there and then get them to our website for ThirdStreet Properties.

Our ideal clients are couples with kids, in their 40’s/50’s making $250K+ combined income, coming from the surrounding areas of DC, MD, Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York. Their families are overscheduled and the parents feel over-worked. The wife works out to reduce stress and the husband loves to golf. They live in and around the city. These couples are ready to buy a break from their fast-paced life and they feel a distinct drop in their stress level as they hit our city borders. Often the women are our decision makers -so appealing to women is imperative. Beach, relaxing, family fun and time away are the keys to our logo. We love the Adirondack chairs! (more below)
We would be our ideal clients. Our background was in corporate/law firm sales for many years and 12 years ago we started our real estate business in DC. We worked very hard and developed a very nice client base. We are natives of the DC Metro area. We are 50 years old (but are young at heart and act 30 yrs old:-)) and have 8-year-old twin boys. We have a house in Bethany and have gone there for most breaks for years. We plan on moving our family to Bethany Beach in the coming months. This is a huge change for us to create more quality time in our lives with our family. We want to bring out more of our personality with our beach business as we create this new brand…authentic, humorous, knowledgeable, down to earth, and very good at what we do. People who will feel like life long friends you can trust!
Third Street is the place on the beach we always go to put up our umbrellas and set up for the day. My husband’s family has owned a beach house in Bethany since 1971 and they have always met up with family and friends on Third Street.
We have twin 8-year-old boys – Finnegan & Rowan who will be a part of our marketing our ‘lifestyle’ at the beach and we have a new English labrador puppy, Addy, who will be involved as well. We named her Addy after the beachfront bed and breakfast on Bethany Beach where we had our wedding – The Addy Sea- back in 2007.

We will want to use the logo on our website (haven’t created the website yet but we have the web addresses of www. thirdstreetprops.com and www.betterinbethany.com), social media, in our videos on youtube, email, and business cards. Whichever formats are best. Previously we’ve had our other business logos in PSD, JPG, PDF, and PNG.
