The inspiration photo at Runway Inspired Challenge #44 shows a gorgeous dress, by Zuhair Murad, that should be mine… I’m sure that (at least) some of you will agree with me; not about being mine, but yours, too :). Here is the link for all the evidence of what I just said, and in case you want to play along – runwayinspired.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/ric44-zuhair-murad….
I’m also joining Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge that is celebrating STAMPtember, with the fabulous artists of the DT, with a Blog Hop. We just have to use one product available at SSS store… that’s easy. I used The Crafter’s Workshop Mini Birds of a Feather 6 X 6 template, among others. I began this card by embossing some branches and leaves with homemade embossing paste. I followed a recipe I found on the net – gabriellepollacco.blogspot.pt/2012/08/making-my-own-textu… – but adding some talc… and let me tell you: it works great! I colored with a Copic, carefully, to prevent damaging the tip of the marker. Then I colored a stripe of cardstock with the same Copic marker, and made a tiny bow. And that’s it! I think this could be a good wedding card, especially before coloring; the white texture paste over the white cardstock looked so good :)…
Supplies:
Stamps: WPlus9 – Fresh Cut Florals.
Dies: Sizzix Framelits – Squares.
Coloring: VersaFine – onyx black; Copic marker.
Others: Neenah Solar White cardstock; The Crafter’s Workshop Mini Birds of a Feather 6 X 6 template; homemade embossing paste; Scor-Buddy; sequins.
Thank you for stopping by.
